Sutures PGA Coated - Polyglycolic Acid Suture - 12 pack
Sutures are a synthetic, absorbable, sterile, surgical suture composed of 100% glycolide.
Clinical trials have shown that after two weeks, approximately 84% of DemeTech's PGA initial strength remained.
At four weeks, approximately 23% of DemeTech's PGA linear tensile strength remained.
Polyglycolic Acid Sutures have been found to be nonantigenic, nonpyrogenic and elicit only mild tissue reactivity during the absorption process.
The absorption time for Polyglycolic Acid (PGA) is 60 to 90 days |
